I am in apparel business more than 10 years. My professional education started in my mother’s atelier, moreover I got my talent and my passion to design from her.

I studied at Textile Technical High School in Adana, Turkey where I graduated in 2002. After that, I moved to Istanbul to get my degree on Fashion Design at Marmara University the School of Fine Arts. I graduated with honors in 2006.

I worked as a fashion designer in Boyner Department Stores special brands, and Lc Waikiki retail stores from 2006 to 2010. I attended the most important fashion shows in Paris, Barcelona, London and Milan between 2006 and 2010.

I have travelled around the globe and settled down in New York.
Currently doing my masters on Brand Management at Fashion Institute of Technology while establishing ‘NilaySelvi’ apparel brand.

Designing fashion is the best way to express my world. I love what I do, and building my life around my dream.
